Director Richard Wright leads Aonui Architecture with the
experience of 25 years of private practice. His specialist
skills include strategic planning, urban design, tourism,
and hospitality projects.
A longstanding passion for environmental protection has
been translated into projects that demonstrate environmentally

Michael Bennington-Barr
Diploma Int Des NZCAD
Michael has been with Aonui since July 2005. He is an accomplished
designer and CAD draughtsman, and brings extensive experience
in residential design to the studio. |

Claire McDougall BArch
(Honours)
Claire joined Aonui in 2006 to pursue her passion
for sustainable design. She has a strong commitment to research
into environmental factors affecting human performance.

Kate is a graduate architect who joined the team
in 2007. She was attracted by the sustainable design focus
and the inventive nature of the passive and active solar design
